Kid/Dog Run

Have kids or dogs?  Bring them along for the fun as well.  We will have a miniature kids course setup that will provide plenty of viewing excitement for mom and dad.  You may want to run this course as well, but we have to limit it to 5-13 year olds.  While we are currently scaling down some of our obstacles to fit on a tailored course just for the little ones, we are also dreaming up wacky kid only obstacles.  Would your kid like swimming in a pool of instant mashed potatoes?  They just may if we have our way. 

And what dog doesn't like to play outdoors, or get muddy?  Have you ever met a dog that didn't like to run?  Neither have we, that is why we put our heads together and decided to bring you the first and only running event that includes dogs. 

We set out to make the Filthy 5k a family friendly event, and Fido is part of the family too.  We have specially designed our obstacles to challenge and excite both you and your four legged friend.  Not only will the both of you be able to run for fun through some of the coolest terrain we can dream up, but you will also be able to knock back a beer while Spot munches on a dog treat.  We will also award  a great Trophy/Bone prize to the top three costumes. 

Of course dogs will have to remain on leash during the run and you are responsible for your own dogs behavior, but still can you imagine how much fun the two of you will have?

The 4:30pm wave has been setup as a strictly dog/owner run.
